Job Description:As a Policy Development Analyst at Community Health Initiative for Youths In Nigeria, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing policies that drive the organization’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and developing policies that align with organization standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy analysis, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for making a positive impact through effective policy development. Responsibilities:Conduct research and gather data on organization trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to focus area.Analyze and evaluate existing policies to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for policy development.Develop and draft policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with organizational goals and objectives.Ensure that policies adhere to legal and regulatory frameworks.Monitor policy implementation and provide recommendations for adjustments or enhancements as needed.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and changes in relevant regulations and policies.Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate policy recommendations and updates to stakeholders. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.Proven experience in policy analysis, development, and implementation.
