BACKGROUND:
Community Health Initiative for Youth in Nigeria (‘CHIYN’) is a non-governmental organization that is sensitive to the plight of specific groups within our society who are often unjustifiably classified as counter-culture. We am to be versatile to the implementation of the basic needs that are ordinarily not easily accessible to these marginalized groups in our society. CHIYN’s priority are men who have sex with men (‘MSM’), but we engage the community in a number of humans rights issues, such as
internally displaced children, and women’s rights issues.
The CHIYN One-stop shop herein ‘OSS’ is a Centre set up to provide Integrated delivery and Access to Comprehensive HIV & SRH & Support Services for Key populations in Niger State and environs. The OSS employs innovative strategies to bring HIV/STI prevention, treatment and care services to MSM, TG and their partners through a social franchise model structure to increase the supply of high quality Key population focused HIV/STI prevention, treatment and care and reproductive health services provided by sensitized health care service providers from the private, non-state and public sector.
We are collaborating with Heartland Alliance International, an organization which shares CHIYN’s goals and vision. With their support, we are able to focus on achieving our stated objectives.


OBJECTIVE:
The Community facilitators will help CHIYN to have a deep understanding about the HIV/AIDS
pandemic around which they are facilitating. The facilitator will help CHIYN have an opinion about the decision or direction the group/community should take to address the problem. The facilitators will use their understanding of the issue, meeting purpose and expected outcomes along with process skills and tools, to help CHIYN engage in effective dialogue, understand the information and decisions
they are considering and develop plans to provide efficient HIV/AIDS services to the community. Additionally, the Community Facilitators will provide technical support in generating innovative ideas on optimized Case finding findings, Index partner tracing , social media for KP-program design and implementation of comprehensive HIV /AIDS program


SCOPE OF WORK:
While we have developed road map for the project, we are open to exploring pathways we may not have considered based on the facilitators expertise or experience.
1) Ensure the daily testing and TX-new target are met
2) Provide technical and managementsupport to the design, implementation and monitoring offield activities in close collaboration program Officers and the State Team Lead.
3) Monitor Outreaches and peersessions
4) Assist in tracking clients on missed appointment list as well as LTFU
5) Assist in the development and monitoring of project costed work-plans and budgets.
6) Supervision of both the Counsellor Testers and Peer Navigators

QUALIFICATION:
1) Secondary School education.
2) Good oral and written English and Hausa .
3) Minimum 2 years working experience.
4) Vast knowledge of the KP dynamics within the OSS coverage.
5) Highly networked with KP-key influencers
6) Ability to think outside the box.
7) Adhere thoroughly to ethical issues and the rights of the clients.
8) Respectable among their peers.


KEY DELIVERABLES:
Submission of work-plan and monthly report.
