Chiyn Initiative joins communities and partners in celebrating International Condom Day on 13 February 2024. It is important to bring visibility back to this safe, inexpensive and highly effective tool to prevent transmission of HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unplanned pregnancies.

This day is also celebrated before Valentine’s Day in an effort to remind people that the condom is one of the best and most effective ways of preventing pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Chiyn Initiative highlights innovative approaches in condom distribution and education especially towards combating HIV.
