Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet too often, it’s the part of us we neglect. The truth is, caring for your mind means giving yourself permission to rest, to feel, and to seek help when you need it.
This year’s World Mental Health Day theme, “Access to services: mental health in catastrophes and emergencies,” calls attention to the urgent need for mental health support in times of crisis. When lives are disrupted by conflict, disaster, or displacement, emotional healing becomes just as vital as physical recovery. Remember, it’s okay not to be okay.
