VACANCY!!!About the OrganizationCommunity Health Initiative for Youth in Nigeria, (hereinafter referred to as ‘CHIYN’ INITIATIVE) is a non-governmental organization that is sensitive to the plight of specific genre of individual members of the society who are often times unjustifiably classified as contra-culture, and is versatile to the implementation of the basic needs that are ordinarily not easily accessible to these marginalized groups in our society, CHIYN is a LGBTIQ-led organization.CHIYN was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission on the 15th April, 2016 with a strong collaboration with Centre for Right to Health, a parent organization that shares like mission and vision, with a view to achieving the desired objectives of the organization.FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER:RESPONSIBILITIES:The Finance and Administration Officer will have the responsibility for financial administration, including the management of the accounts for the organization, the financial information required for various funding returns, the day to day financial management, as well as undertaking general admin tasks under the the directive of the Executive Director.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor’s level degree required in Accounting, finance or business administrationRELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role on a development sector (NGO/USAID preferred)• Experience in financial management systems, (i.e. QuickBooks)• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)• Experience managing procurement, particularly under USAID regulations;• Demonstrated skills in managing project-based logistics• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task to meet deadlines;• Flexible, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision;• Strong interpersonal skills and ability, problem solving, conflict and ethical management skills;• Fluency in English• Excellent in writing
