JOB VACANCY FOR MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER (M&E)Community Health Initiative for Youth in Nigeria (CHIYN) is a non-profit organization that promotes social-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria. CHIYN is currently implementing with Heartland Alliance Nigeria in Niger State Nigeria in providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS and other STIs treatment to ensure past successes/achievements on HIV/AIDS programming in the state is sustained. and refer clients to the OSS for HIV/AIDS and STIs services.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation officer (M&E)Location: Minna, Niger StateDuties and Responsibilities:• Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.• Check data quality with partners.• Maintain and administer the M&E database; analyze and aggregate findings.• Support project progress reporting, project mid-term review and final evaluationQualification and Requirement• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, demographics, public policy, international development, economics, or related field.• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities on Non-Governmental Organizational Project.• Must reside in Minna, Niger state• Must be a member of the Key populationKnowledge, Skills and Abilities• Sound oral and written communication skills• Ability to perform a variety of conceptual analyses required for the formulation, administration and evaluation of projects• Good English, Hausa speaking skills• Excellent analytical skills• Good knowledge of Microsoft word and excel usage• Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills• Maintain confidentiality for sensitive issues on project and use good judgement and decision making to execute duties and responsibilities• Must exhibit high level of integrity and ethical values at all times.Method of application:Interested and Qualified candidates should forward a suitability statement (application) and resume (CV) with the title of “Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M&E)” as the subject of the mail in word or pdf format to chiyn2016@gmail.com.Application closes on Friday 10th January 2023.Only applications sent electronically (i.e. by e-mail) with the job title clearly indicated as the subject of the mail will be considered and only short-listed candidates will be contacted.CHIYN is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Disclaimer: CHIYN does not charge Candidates a fee for a test or interview.
